The Formation of a "Columban Association of the Faithful" as the way forward for Columbans is proposed by Michael Hoban (USA). Michael writes “This is not a new idea. In 1982 when the Superior General (Tony O'Brien) commissioned three Columbans to produce a draft for a new Constitution.  Warren Kinne, Bob Sweeney and Frank O'Leary were appointed and proposed that SSC be "An Association of the Faithful”.  The 'Draft Constitution proposed in 1982' plus 'A Comparison with the Society Constitutions' are uploaded as Resource Documents for the GA.
