The Formation of a 'Columban Association of the Faithful' as the way forward for Columbans is proposed by Michael Hoban (USA). Michael writes “This is not a new idea. In 1982 when the Superior General (Tony O'Brien) commissioned three Columbans to produce a draft for a new Constitution. Warren Kinne, Bob Sweeney and Frank O'Leary were appointed and proposed that SSC be 'An Association of the Faithful'.
